Antioxidant support is important for everyone, but even more critical for people suffering with Chronic Liver Disease. For years, consumers worldwide have used supplemental antioxidants to protect their bodies from free radical damage and its resultant cell damage and death. But, people with Chronic Liver Disease commonly supplement with a dose far below the required minimum to maintain full antioxidant protection against the strong oxidative stress of the disease. In addition to taking insufficient amounts, most antioxidants are water soluble, so the body eliminates them very quickly. Thus, taking higher doses at more frequent intervals helps supply the needed nutrients at the required concentration to maintain therapeutic effect.
