Each person responds differently to taking a new natural
supplement. Most people will have no
problems with starting this supplement combination at the recommended doses.
However, some people may be more sensitive and benefit by starting at a lower
dose and increasing slowly, allowing the body more time to adapt and adjust to
the supplement’s beneficial effects.
The following schedules illustrate a few possible methods of
gradually increasing the supplement program from a low starting dose, up to the
full recommended dose over seven days.
These protocols are only suggestions, and may be modified to suit your
lifestyle, as well as your particular sensitivity.
We recommend taking supplements around mealtimes; since eating
and taking supplements both involve activating and utilizing the body’s
digestive and absorptive capacity. With
this dosing schedule, consistency in supplementation improves. Also, keeping your supplements close to the
eating area provides a natural reminder to take them at mealtime.
The most common complaint about taking supplements is
gastric distress. Taking supplements
with meals minimizes this complaint.
If you notice other minor undesired effects upon increasing
the dosage, reduce the number of pills taken
back to that of a previous day where you had no symptoms. Stay at that level for a day or two, and If
symptom free, start raising the dosage according to the schedule. If your symptoms are more persistent or
significant, you may be experiencing a cleansing process. In this case, stay at the lowest symptom free
dose for a week or more, and then begin raising your dosage. The basic concept is simple – start low and
go slow!
